My experience
There's no shortcut to event management. It needs many attempts to organise and run efficient events where participants are having a great time meanwhile achieving the objectives.
I have been organising and facilitating events throughout the US, Europe and the Middle East for the last 5 years which gave me a solid foundation on how to gather people and facilitate collaboration.
During these events I have covered a wide variety of formats and topics and reached a broad group of people:
Topics: Healthcare, Maritime, IoT, VR, FinTech, Media, Smart lighting, FoodTech etc.
Formats: 3-day hackathons, one-day workshops, inspirational talks and community events etc.
Participants: a broad range of industry stakeholders (maritime, healthcare etc.), organisations (tech startups, universities, large corporates etc.), professions (coders, designers, business professionals etc.) and experience levels (students, senior corporate leaders etc.).
Size of audiences: 20-350 people hackathons, 100-1000 people community meetups, 2-10 people sprints etc.
